Preseason Bravado vs reality...
LSU..low expectations but the bravado was great and I didn't think the season matched the bravado...
FL...lower expectations ...not alot of bravado. So season exceeded bravado
AU high expectations great bravado...but barn barned so a flat line
Texas AM bravado galore...below bravado
But confirms a bright future
Bama...flatline
Ole Miss ..flat
Miss St...below expectations below bravado but flatline due to new regime

I don't think you'll find an Ag that was pushing a Natty this year. I think most were thinking around 8-4 and 7-5.

I agree with your assessments. As for MSU, I think Moorhead tried to install a new system too fast with a QB who had learned something totally different. He made a few changes which helped Fitz late in the season.
All-in-all it was a bust of a season imo considering. Not knocking 8 wins but could have been better.
