Why did all of these top talents choose not to play at Lsu? What is it about Louisiana that makes these people not wamt to olay9for their home state? There are no stupid answers here, anyone who thinks they may have the answer is welcome to chime in.

I haven't wanted to olay9for in a very long time and especially not in Louisiana. But, what's your point here?

Can you imagine special Ed coaching someone up to become a spectacular player at 7SU? Yeah, me either.

It was kind of hard to compete with the U back then for Ed Reed - he was paid and showered with benefits to sign with the U

Once Moses left for IMG it was a foregone conclusion he was gone - no worries, LSU got Devin White who is better

Landon Collins liked playing the recruiting game - no worries, LSU got Jamal Adams who is better

Cam Robinson - LSU would have kicked him off for drug use

Shea Patterson was not from LA - he was the hired gun for a top LA high school team that recruits and is the reason public and private high schools split for state championships in football

Miami has always recruited well in the river parishes of New Orleans. Pre-Saban NOLA players often went out of state to Miami, FSU, etc.

If LSU is missing out on 5 stars only to get “better” players, then why don’t they have more success in the field? Why are they currently referred to as L7U?

Get better, kid

Yeah Ed Reed, Landon Collins, Cam Robinson and Shea Patterson didn’t go to LSU bc of Ed O who wasn’t even on campus when any of these guys started their college careers

Those that opt for bama just want the better odds for a ring. Not every player wants to build something... they just want the participation trophy.

I think every school is lucky that bama throws them crumbs.

The guy didn’t say we were better in every position or had a better coach. Nobody is losing sleep over losing one recruit who ended up being better. Jamal ended up being better. And still is.

We can find top talent from every state that leave. How many top Texas player left Texas for LSU? How many Alabama plays came to LSU over the years. Some kids just want out to experience something new.
