H2H we know O leads 1-0. But this isn’t about that.

I’ve seen a lot of comments about O and his ineptitude this season from opposing SEC fanbases. Could it be just to rile up LSU fans coming off an amazing 15-0 season? Perhaps. Or if they really mean it then, hmm. I’ve also seen some LSU fans on other boards say they are done with O with his decision making this season. It’s 2020. Everyone deserves some slack.

Riley is a good coach. But his inept play calling in the second half of games have been questionable. The Rose Bowl vs. Georgia stands out. This year vs. Texas and Kansas State are classic examples.

Riley can’t cash in on a national title but maintains a great overall record since he’s been HC at OU. Eaux is has a losing record in 2020 but an all-world national championship on his resume.

Who would you rather have as your coach long term. Lincoln Riley or Orgeron?

Lincoln Riley all day but he needs to hire a top defensive coach though.

As a coach, Riley all day long. The only area that Coach O probably beats Riley is that he always has been an excellent talent evaluator and tireless recruiter. But with him running around with a 34 year old woman, he is pushing 60, I remember me being in my 30's and with women that age and "30 year old p***y is using the Ole Keith Jackson saying from those 1970's football games "undefeated and untied"

Why are you asking retarded questions? That’s like asking, which state is better Oklahoma or Texas?

Turnpike, you’re most likely an Eaux hater and want Miles back.

If O has Brady on his staff I’ll take that all day.

Riley and it’s not even close. One is a coach and the other relies on lucky hires and lucky transfers.

If I actually have to stick with them long term, Riley. If I can fire them for not meeting expectations and hire somebody else, I'll take O.

Riley all day. He would be a top assistant if not a head coach. If 0 didn’t have a cajun accent he would be a position coach somewhere.

Is that supposed to be a rhetorical question?

He did.

I see Riley skating off to the NFL in the near future. He knows there is no path to a NC from the Big 12.

Wouldn’t say I’m an O hater or want miles back but O definitely needs to wake up or he’ll be gone quick. We’re LSU, it’s proved we can plug in random coaches and win. Les freaking miles and Ed Orgeron aren’t exactly hot commodities.

O isn’t a good coach. Everyone knows this. Even LSU fans defending him know this.

I'd pick Riley myself, but let's not act like Mayfield, Murray and Hurts didn't all just fall in his lap. Can't shite on O for taking a transfer when all 3 of Riley's good QBs were transfers.

This is correct. Which why him inheriting Aranda & going out to get Brady from the Saints was a positive for him. However since the title run, he had to go get new guys and went with Bo Freaking Pelini & Scott Linehan to replace the guys I mentioned above. You couldn’t think of worse hires. The game is going younger and O decides he’s gonna go get washed up guys. Keeping Ensminger is fine bc he’s a great recruiter. But you can’t expect Linehan to be able to run the passing game the way Brady did. There’s so many young candidates out there for that title yet he gets a washed up old dude. Don’t get me started on why Pelini was not fit.

Coach O has proved that he is only as good as the staff that surrounds him. He’s not going to make no name staffers look good.

There’s no such thing as a lucky transfer. Both coach O and Riley had to recruit these guys to come to their program the same way they’d recruit a HS kid.
