LSU offensive guard Ed Ingram has been reinstated to the team, more than a year after he was suspended after an arrest in Dallas for alleged aggravated sexual assault, an LSU official told The Advocate Friday morning.
quote:
The charges were dismissed, the LSU official said, and Ingram has been reinstated to the program.
quote:
Ingram's return is a major boost to No. 4 LSU (3-0), a team with high postseason potential that has depth issues on its offensive line.
quote:
With Ingram's full reinstatement, the only technical barrier from playing in an official game is the NCAA's five-day acclimatization period. During the first two days, players can wear helmets. On the third and fourth days, they can wear helmets and shoulder pads. On the fifth day, they can participate in full pads.
Such a timeline pegs Ingram's full return to game play for LSU's home game against Utah State on Oct. 5.

Some teams are seeing mass departure and depth issues.
Some teams are getting players back and building depth.

Team vote
Stupid Alabama fans don't even realize that "team vote" came from a program Nick Saban started at LSU.
The fact is that the coach can re-instate a player, but if the rest of the team doesn't think that player is good for the team they can vote him out. What the team CANNOT do is vote a player in that the coach says is out.

Remember in 2017 when Ohio St, LSU, OU, and even schools like Stanford went into Texas and snagged almost all of the state’s top recruits? Ingram was one of them.
Ingram will work his way back into the starting lineup, probably at LT. The RT is another Texas recruit from that class.

Good for the kid, it nice to see his life isn't totally ruined.
Question, has he been staying in shape and well conditioned in the time away from the program? I could see him making an impact if he's physically ready.

Correct.
It is not correct at all. Legal presumptions are not the same thing as legal findings.
It's semantics, but there is a distinction.
