Y'all were very blessed you handled OOC so well because the SEC play was unimpressive, to say the least.

How is jones doing? Saw him get injured last night? And Alabama and UF are battling to be the fifth and last sec team in the tourney

Crazy what losing your second best player for 5 games will do to a teams performance.

Just better hope the committee doesn’t think the SEC is UK, Florida, and a bunch of goons. The conference is pretty weak this year.

You aren’t getting in the tournament at 8-10 and one win in the SECT. You’re not going to finish 8-10 anyway but that wouldn’t do it.

An 8-10 SEC record in a season like this is just not going to cut it.... especially when there are zero wins over NET Top 50 teams OOC on the resume.

Arkansas is going to need to not only beat LSU and Texas A&M, but you're going to need to get to the SEC Tournament Championship Game in order to get an at-large bid.... I think it takes winning 3 in Nashville at this point.

The Hogs have one lone win over a team currently projected in the Field as an at-large.... Indiana. You have five losses to teams clearly outside the current field (WKU, UGA, UT, MIZ, SC) plus two other losses to Miss State who is currently just outside the Field.

That's not a Tournament resume.... not even close.

You would not make the tournament in this scenario.

LSU's resume isn't head-and-shoulders above Florida's

It's slightly better right now but there's a solid chance UF gets as good of a seed as LSU or better by the time Selection Sunday rolls around

We aren’t any good this year. That makes me an unbiased advisor in this discussion.

LSU 20-9 (11-5)

NET: 32

vs Q1: 4-7
vs Q2: 7-1
Q3+ losses: 1 (at Vanderbilt, NET #170)

Florida 18-11 (10-6)

NET: 33

vs Q1: 4-8
vs Q2: 4-3
Q3+ losses: none

So LSU has a better record vs Q2 but also has a bad loss. I'd give LSU the slight edge right now but these two teams are clearly in the same range and the rankings could flip depending on how the season plays out. If UF beats Georgia and Kentucky to end the season, they'll probably jump LSU.

You don’t think 11-8 vs Q1 and 2 is a good bit better than 8-11?

And you guys aren’t beating Kentucky. Let’s get real

It's a three-game difference which isn't an insurmountable gap. Plus, you have the Vanderbilt loss and Florida doesn't have a bad loss. Call it a two-game gap accordingly.

And I do think Florida beats Kentucky at home right now. We've been playing very well at home lately. I question whether or not we'll beat UGA on the road, though.

It would be interesting to see how it plays out, but at this point it isn't really worth arguing over.

In order for this to happen Arkansas would have to step their game up from where it was last night considerably.

They cannot afford any more terrible starts to the game. They would have beaten Georgia last night if they hadn't once again -- for like the 20th time this season -- started off playing like total dog shite. They fell behind by 18 damn points to start the game.

That simply won't cut it from here on out.

I think Arkansas beats LSU at home, but unless something changes (looking at you, Ethan Henderson and your foul per minute average) they will lose to A&M on the road.

In this case they would have to either make it to the final of the SECt or even win the damn thing to make the NCAAt and that shite ain't happening. They don't have enough depth.

Arkansas is looking at the NIT. They needed to get that win last night and they could have had it.

Incorrect, you have to carry water for Alabama, hence the LSU and AU slight.

Here is a hint m8. Alabama may be willing to let you be a booty call but they will never take you home to momma.
