Bentley - SC
Wilson - KY
Franks- UF

All three appear to have replaced them with capable backups but I cannot remember a season where this many have fallen this early with serious season-ending injuries.

Which teams cannot afford to lose their starters in either the East or the West?

I would think Bama, LSU and Georgia all three would suffer if they lost their starters. Having seen Tua in person yesterday, he's just smooth as silk. Have always like Burrow at LSU, tough nosed kid, and Fromm at UGA is a future NFLer.

Mizzou evidently didn't have a viable option other than Kelly Bryant.

A&M relies on Mond, but he's gimpy right?

Starkel just had his coming out party. If he gets injured, and we are back with Hicks, we are doomed.

Until Pruitt injures him pouncing on him on the way off the field.

Kid is a gamer though, given his supporting cast.

Stetson Bennett (great name) has a QB rating of 183.4.

UGA is fine.

What? The guy is the opposite of a gamer. The loses are on him as much as anyone on the team.

I haven’t seen the other backups play but Carolina is in better shape playing this kid over Bentley. This kid could be special

Then who is your backup and why is he not playing?

I think SC and UF backups could be upgrades.
UK QB is not.

I didn’t watch UF-UK until the end, but if that guy Kentucky had is considered a “capable backup” then I hate to see what they had before. I’m sorry but that guy was a statue that couldn’t throw the ball 20 yards

Why was Bentley's back up not playing to start the season?

Because Bentley was the senior, experienced, QB coming into the season with expectations to break all of our passing records. While Hilinski was the true freshman with zero game experience.

It was as simple as that. Any coaching staff would have made the same decision.
