All schools that accept transfer students are easy to get into if you have decent grades. I know thats not what your asking about but its my only fame of reference. When I finished JC my wife thought it might be nice to relocate for a few years so I applied to UVA, UF and Ga and got in at all three. Much harder schools to get into out of high school though. Every student I went to JC with that applied to Alabama and Auburn, that I know of, easily got in but did not make it in some other schools. Ga is also an easy school to get in if you are a transfer student with decent grades.

I am perfectly fine with STATE being easy to get into because we have one of the best engineering schools. I am glad that I have the opportunity to be in the program.

Plenty of folks got in with 24's, though.

I know someone enrolled at UT right now that got a 21 on the ACT.

I don't even remember applying to State. I just sent my app and it was like, "ok time to start getting ready for college in Starkville."

all I know is that for LSU you have to have at least a 3.0 gpa, minimum sat score of 1030, and at least 22 on the act. alabama is 3.0, 1000 sat, and 21 act.

Nothing I said had anything to do with football. Tennessee is one of the lowest ranked SEC schools, year after year. Both Alabama and Auburn wipe the floor with UT academics. Spare me the bullshite please.

Yea basically outside of Vandy a major employer is not going to give a frick about the difference between any of those other schools unless it is in a specialized undergrad program or something like law school at Bama.

I think physics is a requirement to get into LSU now. Apparently my roommate's brother wasn't accepted because of this.

LSU is very easy to get into.

Just take the Acadian Thruway exit off of I-10 and follow Stanford into campus.......

Ehh based on US news and world reports, it's ranked SLIGHTLY higher.

Tennessee IS harder to get into.

I can name 6 or 7 friends off the top of my head that went to Bama, because they were either waitlisted or turned down by Tennessee.

And I know some pretty retard Mofo's that graduated there in 4 years. I also know some really smart people who graduated from Bama in four years.

BTW the US News and World reports are heavily weighted on the % of students who finish in four years.

I agree though, outside of Vandy, UGA, and UF. They're all about the same.

I got into Vandy, then went to Ole Miss because it was free.

I could have graduated with a nice Vanderbilt degree and all of that, but I'd be under a mountain of debt. Also, Vandy girls? Seriously?
