Just for fun I went and looked up how the SEC schools did with updated rankings. Turns out we have a Big 2, next 5, and then the rest. A&M is pushing Vandy. I’m listing them with their national rank. There were 1,200+ schools ranked.
74. Vanderbilt
87. A&M
210. Auburn
247. Florida
248. LSU
273. Georgia
294. Missouri
352. Arkansas
403. Kentucky
418. Alabama
458. Tennessee
464. Mississippi State
634. Mississippi
647. South Carolina
Considering that SEC schools are located in low cost of living states means they would be ranked higher if they were in the northeast.
