Not sure why, but the human polls don't like us as much. We will see what happens.

Probably preseason expectations mixed with Bowling green game, etc.

The Human Polls are always, IMO, a season slow in terms of gauging how good a team really is. Bama this year has looked nothing short of unstoppable, but unfortunately the competition has been week. UT should be a cake walk. LSU might give Bama the best test this season, then the SECCG.
The Human Polls are the only thing that pisses me off about the BCS formula. They have whaayy to much weight in the outcome. To many Pollsters are emotionally attached and the Coaches polls are voted by assistants. C'est la vie.
Once the Voter polls come in Bama should be at or nearer the top.
