The ramps directly view the field, that's why people stand on them. It wasn't noisy, it was basically silent because it was the Star Spangled Banner. Everyone was also standing and facing the huge flag in the middle of the field.

Yes I was on almost on the top row of Section 23 which is directly in front of the ramps that they were yelling from.
FWIW one of them was obviously drunk. He nearly tripped over himself. Not trying to make it out as your whole fanbase because it wasn't. Just something I've never seen done before

Dude, Alabama booed LSU's injured players more than once last year. Please don't bash auburn for that when half of Bryant-Denny last year showed no class in the same situation.
