Not running Tud Gurley from 4th and 1 inside the 5 at South Carolina is up there.

Nah, we had the protector wear fields number to make it appear seamless.
That's not true.
On UGA's previous punt (12:37 to go in the 4th), the protecting backs were wearing 74, 94, & 55.
On the one before that (0:20 to go in the 3rd), UGA used a slightly different formation with an extra gunner. Only 74 and 94 were back.
And the one before that (4:40 to go in the 3rd), UGA had the bigger 74, 94, 55 formation.
That's all of their punts in the second half prior to the fake. On the fake, #1 was the only guy in the backfield with the punter.

Early 2000's...Georgia playing somebody, they had the ball at the other team's one yardline with 18 seconds left and no timeouts...it was second down...instead of throwing the ball and guaranteeing yourself at least 3 chances, Mark Richt ran the ball up the middle...the ball carrier was stopped short, big pile up, last play of the game. UGA loses.

Fake fg attempt on 4th and 9 down 3-0 at LSU in 2018. Nice call, Kirby.

That was 2001 vs Auburn, Mark Richt calling the plays. He was bad with time management on the goal line late in games. Didn’t have the QB spike the ball on the 5 or so vs Bama 11 years later in the SECC game. Instead went for some play and time ran out. Murray knew to spike it, he looked to sideline asking by doing the spiking motion, they waved him off.

Les Miles not playing Jarrod Lee in the National Championship game

I think the dumbest one I've seen is UGA not spiking the ball against Bama in 2012.

Dooley deciding to send out 14 players onto the field during what should have been the last play of the game vs LSU in 2010. End thread/

Surely something Ed O did.

With Tyler Bray at qb, Dooley at midfield with close to 40 seconds left to beat Mizzou decides to run the clock down and lose in overtime.

Isn’t that the same year LSU went on to the NC with two OT losses?

TSUN not settling for overtime which resulted in “the tip, the kick, the pick and the kick.” I still crack up listening to Kirk giggle saying Bean meant to kick it to Clinton.
Side note: Mike Tirico is one of my fav all-time announcers. He paints the picture but never over does it.

I couldn't figure what he was trying to say.

Curley Hallman seems to have cornered the market.
" In 1994, LSU trailed Texas A&M in its season opener by five points with about two minutes to go. Holding two timeouts and the ball just short of midfield, LSU faced a fourth down. Curley, unbelievably, decided to punt. It was a call so stupid that the other team couldn't quite believe it. They sent out a 4-3 defense against our punt unit because it had to be a fake, because surely no coach is stupid enough to punt in this situation. Curley was. And he did. A&M got the ball, ran out the clock, and won the game."

2001 UGA-Auburn. Weird thing is, in 1992 Auburn did almost the exact same thing against Georgia.

Kentucky not covering the Fla WR lined up outside the numbers ... twice in one game ... hasn't got a mention yet.
