Except Alabama has more players in the NFL than anyone and they are are tearing it up in the NFL this year as usual. You’re fake news.

I didn't know that. Now I want a different doctor for him.

But seriously, this is something LSU should be real proud of. I mean producing a top notch innovative doctor like him.

Well Chaos is a bunion surgeon that trained at Baylor and did a foot and ankle fellowship. Tua was operated on by one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the world in Birmingham that actually did a sports medicine fellowship. I like Tuas chances!

Yeah, I don't understand why an LSU poster would be critical of a Louisiana born and educated, world-renowned doctor, such as Dr. Andrews, who is generally recognized at being at the very forefront of orthpaedic medicine.

Andrews was a track and field athlete at LSU. Hard to imagine it if you've met him, but he was a pretty good pole vaulter.

Absolutely. He revolutionized how sports medicine is practiced, and he was a great surgeon. What he did for Brees is nothing short of amazing. Highly paid NFL doctors shite on his chances to ever play again 14 years ago, and now he's the all time NFL passing leader.

He's trained something like 350 fellows in his career and some of the best are still working for him. There are other great clinics out there (thanks to his vision and often staffed with his proteges), but I'd take his clinic's advice over a doctor who was dismissed by the Chargers any day of the week.

Andrews is they guy they called to fix the Auburn gymnast who destroyed both knees in a routine this year. She has given up the sport, but they went to his clinic to get her able to walk again.

I can't stress how stupid this OP is. Lyle Cain is Dr. Andrews' heir apparent, and if those two guys decide that this is the appropriate treatment, it's really not debatable.

You might be the most ate up with BAMA hate Cunny Runt on this entire platform, and that is a hell of an accomplishment.

Read it and weep you stupid motherfricker........

https://www.si.com/college-football/2019/01/06/tua-tagovailoa-ankle-surgery-alabama-injuries-tightrope

So, we've had several players have this surgery with no ill effects. And the clinic in Vail, CO, where this procedure was perfected is also world renowned along with the Andrews and Lemack sports medicine groups in Birmingham, AL.

So take your retired NFL doctor's hot take, and shove it up your arse sideways you insipd frickchop.

Yeah how is it not brought up more that he literally had the exact same surgery last year and was fine?

My only reason for pause is that this is now his 2nd time needing this surgery in less than a year. Regardless of the type of injury, it is always a red flag for something like this.

I am sure the majority of football fans wish him the best.

Also, Geaux Dr Andrews for being an awesome LSU alumni. People like to rip on us over education but we have produced some incredible alumni.

It was his other ankle last year. But, yes, he is injury prone. It's also a free country, and if Tua and his family want him to have the surgery, then whose right is it to question that decision?

That's fair enough.

But Chow's observations regarding the severity of Tua's injury are not off base. Like Chow, I was very surprised to see a guy walking with barely a limp end up undergoing a surgical tight-rope procedure the following morning.

Chow's statement claiming that is "not the norm" is not even debatable. Doesn't mean the decision was good or bad. It means it is not the norm, and it isn't.
