Their running game has all but disappeared. I knew they were in trouble when they needed all they had to get past Nicholls State. Granted, Nicholls is greatly improved, but they aren't even one of the top FCS schools.

They have a pretty damn good defense
But that's about it. No excuse to lose at home if you're Georgia.

It cracks me up Kirby is trying to sell to UGA fans that they lack talent.

It's not so much a lack of talent in general. The OL is terrible, and we really don't have any leadership. Our senior class basically doesn't exist.
Coaching is an issue right now, as well.

that sounds like a comment a Dooley apologist would make. They were 13 men on the field away from beating LSU in 2010. They had 3 straight turnovers, down 7 against #5 UGA in 2012.

Kind of makes me wonder why Bama was so hell bent on keeping Kirby around for as long as they did. Not even Belicheat for the Pats does that with his soon-to-be-forgotten coordinators. Even if it's Smart's first year, you don't lose to vanderbilt at home... ever... under any circumstances. Two teams who at least used to make strong showings in the east, Cocks and Dawgs, have really fallen on hard times. I don't see the East getting better unless Saban switches divisions and Herman takes a job that isn't open yet in the division.
