Several, Riley decided that he didn’t want to be in the SEC firstly, he subsequently decided that he didn’t want to be at LSU.

The reality of it was Riley knew that LSU is the ceiling for an SEC coach. Three different coaches have won a championship at lsu within the last 18 years. No coaching prospect would dare to step in Saban’s shoes after he leaves. 6 championships and the fans are still bitchin. He wins and the fans still complain. It would be extremely difficult for Riley to win a championship at any other school except LSU or Bama and like previously mentioning Saban has big shoes to fill.

Saban stated that “ he wish he would have stayed at LSU”. That sums up my point entirely.

More like an easier job at USC than USC. Another mediocre program. Riley is soft and I dont think he was Woodys #1 guy
