The whole Kansas City thing got me curious. Does the Big 12 and the SEC claim the Kansas City Media Market or do they split the market on State line or is it just the SECs now?

I guess the same thing could be asked about the Big Ten and East Saint Louis IL but East Saint Louis is even more of a shite hole than saint Louis so the Big Ten can have that.

KC is an important part for the SEC. Kansas city is like the Big 12 capital, yet SEC is tapped in there. But to answer your question I believe yes. Because the TV market includes both sides of kc, so therefore it would be the same market for the SEC

Yes. TV markets include the metro pop. KCMO on its own would be worthless, just like any city without it’s metro.

Laura Lee...…..Kansas was all golden and smelled like sunshine.

Josey Wales..... Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas, sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

Makes me wonder if 3rd world lower Alabama and Mississippi are included in the tv package. But I guess they could corral together at the neighbor’s house that does have a television. Lol

I miscalculated my gas mileage while traveling in my motornome in 2017 and had to stop in East St. Louis to fill up. That is one scary shithole of a town.

Both pretty much claim it. It is kinda divided along state lines with the fans, the more you hit K State and ku fans, the more its Big 12, and vice versa. The SEC though will have to make a bigger presence over time to take better advantage. This has been Big 8 country for a long time and that won't go away easy.

Thank god they produce a stupid amount of talent. Fun fact heard during combine a few weeks ago. 7 players at the combine are from the metro east(east st louis), a population of like 500k
