They were “willing to pay $6m for right coach” until about Tuesday. I think they know the hammer is dropping hard and no one was going to take it.

I’m sure OM fans think it’s just bc he won the egg bowl and he’s “one of us” so their admin thinks he’s truly the best man for the job.

Joey Freshwater in Oxford would be a sight to behold.

If it’s Luke, it means we’re getting the additional bowl ban and they think that’s the only way to keep some players from leaving. He did a good job of keeping the players motivated, but he’s a terrible coach.

Our coaching search got fricked by all of the bigger programs looking for coaches. Worst year for us to be looking.

And with Mullen and likely most(if not all) of that staff leaving....we stand a chance to make a big splash in recruiting if we keep our staff in place.

This isn't me campaigning for Luke or saying that it's the right thing to do....but I can see why maybe we keep him on for another year or two with an incentive-heavy contract and then see where we stand.

Ole Miss is losing some money over their cheating. They don't have a lot to spare.

Logically, they have a good OC and DC. What is a new coach going to bring? They will be punished regardless. Might as well see what he can do.

Dickie Scruggs lives in Oxford. He is the wealthiest lawyer in America. He sued the tobacco industry and they pay him $1,000,000 every 8 days and 3 hours.

Scruggs is dis-barred and can't practice law anymore.

Scruggs is underwriting all our losses.

We ain't scared.
