Dumb arse Fulmer hired him and the new coach doesn't want him. I say it's pretty good money for doing NOTHING! You fkers deserve this. RTR

He was hired at an unnamed position but I think Fulmer was prepared to go with an interim if he had to. When the Haslams moved past that things changed. I'd love to keep Steele but IDK if he will want any part of this. Our booster wars are still a major issue.

I think it will depend a lot on whether or not he wants any part of the politics going on. He's a Fulmer guy not a Haslam guy and that shite still matters because we have petty old men running things.

Why? Fulmer tried to sneak him in as the hire. A majority of the Boosters (money folks), wanted Steele. Would I accept a job with Benedict Arnold on my staff? Steele has no shame.

Fulmer slid him in last second, hell he wanted to hire him in 2017. Fulmer knew he was on the chopping block and was trying to sneak in the next HC.

frick dude, I hate Tennessee for real but I'm feeling sympathetic right now because you just reminded me of Mizzou hiring Kim Anderson.

All the frick stupid old men boosters thought he would be good and the AD was already kind of on the way out.

Everyone knew he would suck and wouldn't be able to recruit.

People who supported him still won't admit they were 100% wrong from the start.
