Does O get an extension is if he lives up to the top 10 ranking?

Let's say O leads the Tigers to a 10-2 (6-2) record this year.
Currently, he's being paid 3.5 M a year. That is only good for tied in 23rd for highest paid coach. He'll have 3 years, 10.5 M left after this season.
Does Joe tear up the deal, give him a raise, and extend him so his contract can be on bar with Alabama, Florida, Auburn, A&M, & Georiga? Right now LSU is paying their head coach less than Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Is that the company you want to keep?

10 years 76 million. LSU can’t handle being poor so they’ll blow it all to show up Aggie

He still has like 20 years on the original contract our AD gave him, so let it play out more before rushing into anything. I mean, he isn't really going anywhere else...is he?

If he earns it sure, but his assistants are also a huge part of it

Y'all are so mad LSU isn't 1-2 right now like y'all were predicting all summer long.

Doesn't O have huge incentive bonuses like if he wins the conference or something?

Big fat raise, big extension, YUGE buyout

With O, they'll renegotiate him down to a lower contract and let him know he should be proud to coach LSU. And he'll take it.
Geaux tigers!

Does Jimbo have to give any money back when he loses to Clemson, Alabama, MS State, Auburn and LSU?

No. He could literally lose every game for the next 9.5 years and he wouldn't have to give a cent back.

Seems like a lot of LSU fans are ducking this question. Seems odd, but I assume y’all believe these first few games are more fluke than concrete good teams.
