With modern offenses and his pass catching and blocking ability I could see him being a late first rounder. I don't think I ever saw him drop a pass.

Depends on the team and the need.

IMO, he'd be a better pick for KC this year than Clyde was last year.

Yes, but it isn't until the last few years that the NFL has gone to shotgun the majority of the time. I would argue that having a talented and physical center last year was the main reason that A&M's offensive line was considerably better than the year before.

It's also why I am not too worried about the OL next year if Matthews can stay healthy.

He's a better receiver, and that's about it. Najee will probably be drafted by a team that likes to throw to the RB. If they are smart anyway.

He was close to being a receiver out of highschool IIRC.

I think the Dolphins should take him at #18. He came back and really developed his receiving game to become an all around offensive weapon like a Kamara...not just a 2 down guy taking handoffs.

Henry is a physical beast, but not as athletic...still crazy Henry slid to the 2nd round. What a steal.

I would think a lot of the teams at the bottom of the first round would be interested in Najee.

Yes, no, maybe.

No way Travis Etienne is a better back. Anyone that rates him better has been drinking. He's faster but not as durable, not a better blocker, Harris can make you miss just about as well and is as good or better catching the ball.

he’s also not the athletic freak that they look for in high 1st round guys.
I'm no scout, but he seems to be able to do a lot of things a guy his size shouldn't be able to do. He's big, fast, has incredibly quick feet, and can catch. He seems like a freak to me.

I agree.
He's 6'2" and 230 (at least), and imo, he seems to be a more mature RB than what we generally see coming out of college. He reminds me of a guy who's been in the league for several years...he makes very few mistakes.

You got a lot of downvotes, and I'm not necessarily agreeing with you, but perhaps one could make the argument that, from a potential NFL standpoint, Harris does well catching the ball out of the backfield, whereas Henry always comes out of the game on passing downs for the Titans. Harris is excllent catching the ball out of the backfield as well as pass blocking, and I can see where he may play more on 3rd downs than Henry, especially on 3rd and 5-8 yards.

He'd be a great fit in Pittsburgh IMO.

I have always just felt that Najee was the most impressive RB prospect since Adrian Peterson. Obviously, Henry has already proven himself as a pro, but I really believe that Najee could have a better overall career, assuming he gets on the right team(s) and stays healthy.

outside outside him maybe not having a freakish 40 time, this isn't really true if you've watched some of the things he can do on a football field.

His “track” measurables don’t pop compared to past early 1st rounders.

Najee can certainly be an every down back, and there aren't a lot of those guys around.

I'll deny posting this, but I could see KC picking Najee up at 31. No more Damien Williams or Le'Veon Bell, and that RB depth chart is thin with just CEH and Darrell Williams.

NH definitely fits that description.

I think many, maybe not NFL, fans and most pundits are missing what a good receiver he is. He not only has great hands but adjust to the ball like a wideout. Remember the back shoulder catch he made in the 2019 LSU game? How about the one handed catch against OSU in the championship game this year?
