Does LSU remind anyone else of the 2010-11 auburn tigers?

Gets a once in a generation talent at qb to transfer in and have one record breaking season to lead them to a championship only to find out the next season he was literally all they had? Orgeron will probably get the chizik treatment in another couple seasons.

And like that Auburn team, people will forget that their drop off isn't just due to the loss of the generational transfer quarterback, but all of the other pieces that made the team work.

Ten years ago? Damn, it must be great to be young and be able to remember past last week

quote:Friend and I were saying exactly this yesterday about reminding us of the 2011 Tigers. That 2011 team was minus 32 contributors and still won 8 games. I still don't know how, though
all of the other pieces that made the team work.

Brady, not burrow, is lsu's cam. Somehow people forget that burrow was there in 2018 and put up worse numbers than fromm and didn't score a single point against alabama. Enter brady the next season and they're a living cheat code. Then in tbe off-season it's all "BuT EnSmInGeR CaLlS ThE PlAyS!!" Now the season starts and we see the reality of things.

I thought of 2016 State after Dak and Manny Diaz left. Ftizgerald had some fun games but overall State's offense looked super uncomfortable at times and that Peter Sirmon defense couldn't stop anybody.
LSU's defense yesterday reminded me of State vs. Arkansas from 2016 when Arkansas didn't punt a single time.

Does Arkansas remind you of conf USA team or a American athletic team or a sunbelt team?
Ark hasn’t been relevant since the 60’s

All of the above. They are very bad.
Is that supposed to make me upset? We had to turn to our 4tj string former walk-on but still won by 4 touchdowns on tbe road. There isn't a single uga fan out there happy with our performance or that feels good with our qb situation. I'd say a 27 point win is good though no matter how it comes.
