Does LSU Have What It Takes To Beat "Top" Teams This Season?

I haven't been this nervous about playing "top shelf" talent since the 1987 bowl season.

Don't worry. Lots of teams get that feeling before playing the Hogs.

Absolutely, but it's evident now that the lost of Faulk is a much bigger deal than it was made out to be (and probably Mathieu as well to some extent).

LSU will still win most of their games but they won't be blowing the doors off everyone like last year. They're gonna have to show toughness and win some close ones.

Phew. That's reassuring to see. With all the talk out there, some of these highly touted teams sure seem scary.

One bad night on the road in the SECand coming out with the win isn't time to panic.

Your offense clearly has some issues but Mett will improve. The line is not the same without Faulk, but you can change some protections to help with that.

Yes, LSU can still beat some top teams, but clearly, there is some work that needs to be done before you can pencil in a title. Damn I hate that you get Bama at home instead of the road.
