They have had a raft of players quit (sorry, "opt out") on the team since at least 2020, and maybe further back than that. Didn't Fournette decide to sit out of his last bowl game to protect himself? Anyway, Brian Kelly definitely has his work cut out for him getting that program turned around.

It’s becoming part of their culture.

Myles Brennan is a sixth year "grad transfer" and made a decision to leave after he realized or was told he's not starting for LSU. He had entered the portal and Bk talked him into staying and competing! He could have gone elsewhere and started.

He is recently engaged, has a business empire waiting for him to run, and maybe just got burnt out on football.

You can (and should) bring up other examples of players quitting, but Myles stuck around and gave it his all and is moving on.

Shut up.

Brian Kelly ran off a 6th year senior QB who gave his all to LSU.

I wouldn’t want to play under him.

BK talked him into removing his name for the portal and sticking around and competing.

As T-Bob Hebert said about his beloved LSU:

"We are France. We are Paris. Quitting and surrender is our heritage."

[Loose paraphrase to the best of my recollection]

Almost as bad as Alabama’s stolen gun and vehicular homicide problem.

Eli Ricks quit on LSU and Alabama gladly picked him up.

Brian Kelly couldn’t convince Brennan to stay on for his last year and be a mentor to the younger guys??

Alabama is superior to LSU (and rest of college football). No one with an IQ above 50 questions that.

InsecureBama at it again. No one said Bama wasn't good at football.

I bet Bama has "medically retired" more players than the number thats "quit" LSU.

Brennan missed two years due to injury. That's a lot to come back from.

Are you implying a state steeped in French culture regularly quits? Surrenders, as it were?

There has definitly been a lot of change the last 2 years. I think it shows just what a train wreck Ed Orgeron was.

Coming off 17 years with 2 buffoons as head coach will do things like this. The fact that we won 2 nattys with these guys is amazing.

I think Kelly will stabilize things. I am not expecting a huge turnaround this year. But I think we will see some improvement.

He's been at LSU for 6 years, he's already graduated and he was likely going to be 3rd string. Given that he'd not starting I'm sure he's ready to move on to the next chapter of his life and I can't blame him

Alabama is a compassionate program that welcomes refugees fleeing from States of evil repression.

We have been a refuge for those fleeing communism in Hawaii, California, New York Georgia, and other big-brother regimes.

And we have welcomed those seeking freedom from grinding poverty and police over-exuberance such as Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee.

Alabama is the shinning city in the hill, a beacon of hope and an example to the country. The world recognizes this because “roll tide” is an expression used as a superlative without need of translation in 7,000 languages. The world is a better place because of Alabama.

Oh … and FU all.
