Can you say that OSU is a better team than Alabama? You could say it- but you'd be wrong.
They took LSU to overtime, and lost. But just look at the destruction LSU has laid down this season. No one else has come close. LSU just beat two teams with a combined winning streak of 17 games by the combined score of 83-27. That's one hell of a team.
No other team can match up well enough with LSU this year- at this point- to make a game out of it. Bama may not even be able to.
Want the real truth? It mattered an awful lot that T-Boone U couldn't even beat Iowa State. They got screwed by nobody- except themselves.

I stopped reading here. You do realize that LSU was losing at that point...right? LSU didn't "lose" the game because of that bad call. Who's to say we would have scored?
