Does anyone think Ohio State would've given LSU a better NC game?

Probably not - would have been interesting to see their DBs vs LSUs WR, but overall LSU would have overwhelmed them just like they did everyone else.

It would have been the same. I saw their game and said neither team is good enough to beat lsu. I had us by 18 and we won by 17 and took a knee in the red zone. We would win by the same vs ohio.

LSU would have destroyed Ohio State.

No. LSU was by far the best team in the country. The teams that caught them early and played them close did so before they realized that fact.

One could reasonably assume Fields would have played much better than Lawrence so I could have seen the gap being less than 17 but not by much really

Maybe. I don’t believe the end result would have been any different, though.

I'm not sure OSU would've allowed a 35-8 turnaround though like Clemson did.

No. LSU couldn't be beat all year. Didn't you read that every week on SECR?

No, Fields cant throw for shite, Lawrence is twice as accurate. I dont care what numbers say, I saw it, any coverage at all and he is wild.

Dobbins not as good as Etienne, and lastly we are a matchup nightmare for any defense on the planet right now. You better have 6 dogs to put back there to take our game away, and no one has that in college football.

If you remove the suspect officiating and the injury to Dobbins tOSU beats Clemson by 10.

I don't believe they would have beaten LSU, but IMO it would have been more competitive. Their DB's were better than Clemson's and their pass rush was also better.

I’m not sure LSU would’ve gotten down by 10 to OSU in the first half either. There’s no way to know regardless. OSU might have kept it closer for longer, but I think LSU just wasn’t going to be denied no matter which of the two teams they faced.

Ohio State Should have been up 28-0 against Clemson but they shot themselves in the foot over and over again. LSU was the best team in the country but Ohio State was better than Clemson.
