I get the smack talk and I totally understand that Alabama has dominated Fournette the last two games. But, do you actually think that Alabama held Fournette to 30 something yards because Fournette sucks?

Or, maybe just maybe Alabama played really well, figured out what LSU was going to do, and loaded up at the point of attack and shut LSU's running game down?

If you think that Fournette couldn't do anything against Alabama because Fournette sucks, then that's just stupid. AND, you diminish Bama's team as well.

The much more likely option is that the LSU offense was completely predictable, Alabama knew how to stop it, and it didn't matter who the RB was in that scenario. They can't run into 9 man fronts full of Bama players with Saban calling the shots. It just doesn't work.

Fournette is very good as the is the Alabama defense. The variable is, "How good is the LSU offensive line and the LSU offense in general?" That is what will determine this game.

Arkansas's defense sucks and had no problem shuttin Fournette down, he's averaging less than 50 yards rushing a game against them.

Why can't he hit the holes that every other RB that has faced the defense has been able to?

Poor vision.

Arkansas had a bad rush defense last year? news to me. and btw, he had more yards against Arkansas last year than any other back outside Peyton Barber from Auburn, so there's that. don't worry sweetheart, Fournette will get his turn for 150+ on Arkansas in a few weeks.

Anybody that says LF sucks is trying to get somebody to make response thread. Nobody is dumb enough to believe that. Bama fans are confident with Bama's ability to stop him. So some will say he sucks and when Bama's dominant dline asserts itself. They will say told you so. But they know he is a good back.

Thank you for the honest answer. This is my point. If you say he sucks, then it means that you aren't that good and didn't have to be that good to stop him.

It is an utterly stupid troll, so I'm not at all surprised that Dale Denton engages in it. It actually diminishes your own team.

I know Bama held him to 31 yards on 19...19 carries. You guess the rest.

He didn't run as hard as I've seen him run against other teams. LSU fans won't admit it, but there was definitely some fear in his eyes last year. We all saw it.

He is still a great back and everyone can see he is clearly elite. Most just don't think he is some generational talent that hasn't been seen or won't be seen for some time.

Well said, agree completely. LF is a great player.

Fournette is a helluva back. There's no denying that. But the reality is that your OL last year, relative to Alabama's defense, wasn't anywhere nearly as good as LSU fans claimed they were. Not even close. Our skepticism about how Fournette might do next week shouldn't be interpreted as a slap against him. Until we see otherwise on the field, we aren't buying into your OL. If your OL doesn't do a better job this year, expect the same results.

This right here is why I give them shite about his performance vs Bama. The whole generational talent, best ever , he's gonna crush Bama and etc.

They go so far overboard on the hype and if any one even remotely hints he might not be the greatest most bestest, generational talent then the L5u fans go apeshit and hurl personal attacks.

Plus there was the whole Derrick Henry deal where the L5u fans shite on him at every chance, that he wasn't even close to LF ability and etc. Even though Henry was playing better than LF, was absolutely destroying competition but nope he sucked and didn't deserve any of the accolades he received.

LF is the greatest running back in America. No matter how the seasons work out, he should stand for all the honors. He is nothing but class.

You might want to watch the tape again and see how often that box isn't stacked and he goes backwards

So, he sucks because of that?

I guess that means that Alabama wasn't any good either.

Just stupid. You cut off you nose to spite your face.

Your lack of ability to give respect to your opponent makes your own team look average at best. It makes no sense at all.

If LF didn't play for LSU would you all still live vicariously through him?

Questions for the ages
