Truth be told I find that to be the most overlooked part of the title game. Williams was not impressive to me but Leatherwood came in and shut it down. It didn’t look like they gave him extra help either. I legitimately think that had Williams not gotten hurt, UGA might have gotten to Tua (successfully) another time or two and that could have been the difference.

I agree. Before the season started last year, I stated on this board that I thought Leatherwood would be the biggest Freshman surprise on the team. Throughout most of the season, he disappointed me and I'd heard that his work ethic had been questioned. I live in Pensacola and was familiar with Alex's high school career, so it really pleased me for him to come through so well in the Title game.

Well, we could continue to ask meaningless, stupid, and whimsical questions or we could let the season play out and base our decisions upon actual reality. You kids keep playing your fantasy games.

It’s not fantasy when Alabama routinely produces elite OLs. Where the hell have you been? Under a rock?

I think it's the best OL we've had since 2012, going to be fun to watch the O light it up again.

Alabama is going to have the best offense in the SEC. I never thought I could type that and mean it with a Saban coached team but our backups are gonna get lots of playing time this year.

Georgia is coming for the best OL. Richt never was good at OL recruiting. 1 more class should give us a chance at a good debate as to who is best.

As for the best offense, we might steal the title based upon the competition that we face. We will have to see how it plays out. Getting Vandy, Kentucky, and GT as our toughest OOC could put our numbers better.
