Does A&M get mad when they see a former Texas HS player light it up at other SEC schools?

I know for a fact LSU feels sick when we see a player like Landon Collins for example, ball out at bama. Does A&M feel the same way when a Texas player goes to OU or LSU and kills it because it’s a guy they could have had?

Considering Texas probably has 10x as many high school football players as Louisiana, I'd say no

Life is too short to worry about stuff like that.

I wouldn’t consider Jalen Hurts to be a big name guy (at least not coming out of high school).

Also, if I’m not mistaken, Kyler Murray and Kyle Allen had transferred right before the end of that recruiting season so it was going to be incredibly difficult to get a solid QB after that.

If anyone should be sick it’s UT. They missed out on RG3, Manziel, Mayfield and I’m sure there’s a lot of other big names. They made their bed though when they screwed over the rest of the Big12

He was a four star and the #4 Dual threat QB in the country. That’s a good recruit IMO.

No, there is way too much talent to get all of it. If it’s a kid we were really after and lost out on sure

That's because you guys are a cult. You cry when a player leaves the state and tells him never to come back and he isn't welcome but then you recruit guys from out of state and tell them how great it is in the swamp lands. Bunch of hypocrites.

I have nothing against him. I find it hilarious Tech had him and lost him

His dad seems like a douche but I'm not sure why I should care that he transferred from Tech to OU. I'd do the same TBH. I love Texas but I don't love it so much that I'd live way out in bumblefrick Lubbock.

A&M could take the 25 best players in Texas each year and still see several former Texas HS players light it up yearly at SEC and other schools.

No doesn't bother me. And none of us would ever claim they aren't welcome back to the state. Because we are not psychos

LSU has many kids out of Texas and A&M has taken many out of Louisiana that LSU could not pull in. Some kids just want to get the hell out of Lousiana and are not infatuated with whole LSU thing. I don't understand what trying to say? Texas is 7 times the size of Lousiana and has way more schools to chose from, so kids get to choose whatever program they fit in with better.

Who the hell says KIDS are not welcome back in their home state if they go to out of state colleges?! Maybe some backwoods coonass trash. Not the average knowledgable fan. I might be mad they didn’t pick LSU but I’d never stoop and attack an 18 year old online. Every fan base has dumbasses who send threats and stuff to coaches and players. Remember Sumlin’s so called racial death threats?
