Does 2010 Auburn win the National Championship without Nick Fairley?

Yeah, Cam Newton gets all the attention(rightfully so) but I legit think they aren’t as good without Nick Fairley dominating the middle. I don’t think people remember how good that dude was. A true game wrecker on the defensive line. What do you guys think?

Nick Fairley was a huge part of the 2010 championship team. As good as cam was no I don’t think we win without Fairley too. He was a beast.

The goal line stuffing on Oregon, by Fairly, was just as important as the kick that sealed the victory in the Natty. Fairly was a beast!

He dominated that National Championship game. And his sack/recovery of McElroy in the Bama game was one of the top 3 plays of the season too. No way we win without Fairly. He was absolutely unblockable that year.

Fairly was a beast with a knack for making a big play when you really needed it. So, no, I don't think we would have won the NC without him. Josh Bynes gets overlooked sometimes, but he was instrumental too.

Fairley was a beast in 2010, but when Cam doesn't figure out a way to win a game in 2010 it will be the first time. I bet Cam still finds the W's.
