Do you think conferences will ever expand past 14? Drop back to 12?

I'm a Gamecock fan and it's November, therefore it's the offseason for me. Give me a break.

Depends if you believe the Big 12 can stay together.

If I had to bet, I'd say the Big 12 falls apart and 4 16 conferences are formed.

depends on the Big east tbh. They have so much pull but on the basketball side. They're the ones making it tough to figure out who and where.

Idk but we should kick Mizzou out and add Clemson, Florida State, or Sewanee.

Now that's out of the way.

12 is way better than 14. Keep Aggy but boot Missou and I guess Arky or maybe USCe

I really think the Big 12 is going to eventually make an all out push for the Arizona schools to get back to 12. ASU and Arizona aren't happy in the Pac 12 and there may be a window of opportunity. The Pac 12 is in such dire straits that they would probably let it happen.

I don't think the SEC is necessarily looking to expand to 16, but if chaos ensues in the Big 12 or ACC, they would be willing to look at opportunities. The chaos opportunity in the ACC is simple. Syracuse, Pitt and Boston College might decide the ACC isn't a good fit.

I think the B1G is exactly where they want to be, unless Notre Dame decided they wanted in. If Notre Dame approached the Big Ten, they would go after another AAU school like Kansas or Missouri to even things out.

UofSC better hope they don't go back to 12. You'd be first on the chopping block.

I would prefer a 10 team conference with everyone playing each other every year.

The SEC should go back to 10, but I'd settle for 12 and sending Missouri and Texas A&M back to the Big 12. Will never happen. A&M brings in too much money even with their mediocre football program.

Go back to the 10 classic SEC teams and play a Big 12 schedule.

Pac 12 has always treated them like outcasts. The Arizona schools and Oregon/Washington are responsible for most of the ratings on the Pac 12 network but the California schools are catered to. IThe Pac 12 is in terrible financial shape as well. Big 12 could offer more incentive.

The Big 12 wants to go back to divisions, and ASU/Arizona gives them a natural way to keep OU and Texas opposite. Something they always wanted but couldn't achieve in the old Big 12.

South
ASU
Arizona
Texas Tech
Texas
TCU
Baylor

North
OSU
Oklahoma
KSU
Kansas
Iowa State
West Virginia

I still think WVU to the Big 12 is the dumbest shite ever. I'm kind of biased towards the geography of it all though.

I wish they'd go back to 12, but I know that's not gonna happen, so 14 is ok

Will be further consolidation. 28 teams with 4 divisions. Semi-final game and a conference championship. This is where College football is heading.

Table is getting set for 2 super conferences.. Each as described above with the college equivalent of a super bowl.
