Apparently Vince McMahon is bringing back the XFL in 2020. I remember the XFL and it was god awful football. The only good thing about it was He Hate Me.

If its true and the XFL is coming back which former SEC coach is going to be on the XFL hot list?

Les Miles?
Hugh Freeze?
Butch Bring it Home Jones?

Lane Kiffin will moonlight as a XFL coach under the Freshwater monicker. Perfect wrestling villain.

That might be the most perfect fit imaginable.

They introduced cameras in the cheerleader locker rooms so that's at least two good things.

You missed some quality work

That dead man is Jeff Brohm, head coach of Purdue. May he rest in peace.

You have a good point. They also had the incredibly stupid halftime stunts like the time Vince McMahon body slammed a camera man and threw water on him.

I was actually thinking about the XFL yesterday and how with all the negativity surrounding the NFL it should make a comeback. Glad to hear it is coming back.

Hugh Freeze could put "She Hate Me" on the back of his polo.

No, they said they were going to and then when the big moment came the camera man "walked into a wall" and was "knocked out"

the xfl did things the nfl is afraid to do. like get rid of the stupid coin toss. start the game like a man. have two guys wrestle for the ball. the team that earned it gets first choice.

then get rid of points from kicks. keep kick offs and punts. no more field goals/extra points. too many games are decided by kickers.

get rid of offsetting penalties. mark off the difference between the two.

no more half the distance. if the offense gets a penalty and the distance can't be marked off, safety. if the defense gets a penalty, the offense gets a choice of 3 points or half the distance.

Went to a Maniax-Outlaws game. There aren’t many pro and semi-pro leagues I won’t give at least one chance. I was a huge fan of NFL Europe. That one in particular (and perhaps exclusively) was a highly underrated product. The lack of quality in XFL rosters wasn’t helped by the fact that teams were thrown together with duct tape and shoestrings. The league launched with no preseason for pity’s sake. Still there was NFL talent within the league. Just very little of it and the list is a Who’s Who of Who’s? Who?. And that’s being verrrrrrry generous.

Johnny Manziel, Greg Hardy, and others would surely play. If they are starting the league in 2020, as rumored, that gives them a bit more time to get organized. Honestly, it will be nice to have football during the "offseason".

I remember them having no coin toss and running to the football at the 50 to see who got the ball first. Also remember the no fair catch rule.
