Just curious what the rest of you think about it. Would you rather face the old school pro style that we previously ran or are you happy that we are a zone read team now?

The motion from the wide reciever every play is infuriating for DC's im sure. Almost every single play has motion pre snap

Sometimes. Most of the time Bama is on offense, I tend to say, "fricking Kiffen"

i like the breath of fresh air but kiffin doesnt know when to stop passing the ball as often. somebody said it in another thread but its like he has an addiction to the pass sometimes.

You guys don't really have a down field passing game. The way to play Bama is to load up on the run and force the pass. We didn't have the depth on the line or the linebackers to do this. LSU does.

If LSU had a legitimate passing attack, Bama would be in trouble. Etling hasn't shown me he is the type of QB that can beat Bama secondary. Therefore I see you guys being able to stop LSU enough to keep your offense on the field and wear the LSU defense down. If time of possession stays around 50/50 then the game is a tossup.

Don't think Bama can win having to rely on passing game. Hurts just not accurate enough.

We have a really good O-line. We don't get called for holding. We have some good backs. We have some good receivers that are really good blockers. We have a fast, though inaccurate QB that can't hit the deep ball.

"Run. The. Ball." Run the fricking ball. Run the mother fricker. When the safeties come up, try a couple of plays downfield to keep them honest and run the ball some fricking more.

Seems like Kiffin knows he has a problem in the passing game and is trying to work on it during the game itself. Bama threw the ball for no reason on first down quite a bit.

Kiffin knows what he is doing and he also knew you guys could run the ball. He is working on the passing game during the games. I heard people bitching about Bama not running but I understand what he is trying to do. Working on the passing game in practice is not the same.

Honestly I like the more pro style that bama ran before lane showed up. The pac-12 can keep their shite IMO.

I agree. I don't pretend to know as much as Kiffen. I know jet sweeps that don't go for a lot of yards, aren't a wasted a play, rather setting up something else. Alabama's offense is putting up good numbers and is scoring enough. It is hard to argue with Kiffen's success, but sometimes I just can't help but cuss him.

Kiffin has a Mike Shula streak in him. Run it up and down the field between the 20s, get to the red zone and start passing

This is excellent.

Edges for Alabama/LSU
QB: PUSH. Hurts can't throw deep. Etling can
RB: LSU. Fournette is the best RB in the SEC
Defenses: Alabama is better.

Both defenses will load up to smother the run and dare the offense to throw. I give the edge to Bama only because that defense is ungodly for CFB level.

It will be a fun game to watch.
