Do we all agree on the following CFP scenarios?

Assuming the CFP rankings hold true from now until the SEC Championship Game, at least as far as Georgia and Alabama are concerned, do these two scenarios seem like the most likely outcome:
Scenario #1:
#1 Georgia defeats #2 Alabama. Georgia is in, Alabama is out.
Scenario #2:
#2 Alabama defeats #1 Georgia. Both Alabama and Georgia are in.
What say you?

I think the only way Georgia gets in with a Bama victory:
They have to have a 10 point loss or less. Georgia won't get in if they get blow out and they will need some help with other 1 loss teams losing.
I think Bama gets in even if they lose to Georgia bc the playoff committee will give them the benefit of the doubt.

No. B10/B12/ACC/Notre Dame will fill the remaining 3 spots. Only the SEC champ makes it in.

If both Uga and Bama are undefeated going to Atlanta and the game is close , both get in. You heard it here first.

The question is Moot. AU defeats both UA and UGA.

I think the loser is out no matter what. It's always bad to lose a game that late in the year.... It took some upsets following 9-6 for us to get the rematch, we weren't just immediately put back in that position.
However, it's a committee's decision now. Not the AP or coaches, or a system heavily based on them..... so who knows.

Only one gets in imo.
It's a play in game.

Disagree. I stand by what I said a few posts up.

I think they'd both be deserving assuming they win out and it's a close game in the SEC CG, but I don't think the committee puts both in. We'll see.

Why would Notre Dame get in over Georgia?
They lost to them, at home, and would have one less victory.

Like I said... bad to lose late. It's a what have you done lately, scenario. Just my guess though, but that's how I think it would be viewed.

If it's a close game. It's possible for both to get in.
Various 1-loss teams' resumes can improve or get watered down via who they play the rest of the way and how their opponents finish out. Also, how well they play the rest of the way affects "eye test."

I’m doubt a conf gets 2 teams in. When that happens , it will signal a move to 8 teams.
You just can’t overlook the overall impact it has financially and also on recruiting.

If they are ranked #1 and #2 in the sec championship and it’s a close game, I think this will be the first year to see 2 teams from the same conference in the playoffs. Either way the conference championship goes down, the loser will have only 1 loss and it will be to the #1 team in the nation, I don’t think any other 1 loss team will have that resume

Completely depends on how many teams have two losses as conference winners IMO.

SEC CG is a play in for playoff spot
Unless we get chaos
I was surprised to see Clemson at 4; but that tells me a lot
We need a bunch of teams to lose to get 2 SEC teams in

Bama-Georgia winner, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Clemson all get in before the Bama-Georgia loser.
Now, if Oklahoma, Ohio State or Clemson loses, the. It is a possibility.

I like GA but they're not #1, Bama is until someone knocks them off.
GA & Bama can both get in

Unfortunately, we are #1
That means we have the biggest target
It also means that theoretically, we have a better chance of getting in after losing than Bama does
