He is who he is. One thing about Tebow was is that he was genuine. I knew lots of sluts in college that plastered their Facebook with Jesus shite, but at the end of the day liked a good hard dicking first and foremost. Johnny Manziel is genuine as well. It may be douchey and obnoxious, but at least he is consistent.

Imma cosign this. Spot on.

Like 'em or hate 'em, neither Tebow nor JFF are going to change for anyone.

Must be nice having mega rich parents and alums throwing money at you. Oh well I can't say I wouldn't try and ball that hard if I could

We also need to go back and chart the number of Manziel threads started by each fan base.

Think I already know the trends that such a chart would bear out, but it'd be fun to see.

I'll weigh in on the subject when our chest tattoo to QB ratio changes.

I disagree.

I don't think he's genuine at all. Like someone else said, he's just trying too hard to be cool. He will look back in a couple years and be ashamed of how he's "stuntin, wild'n, turnt up" when he's in the public eye the most.

What do his parents do? How much money do they have? Just cause you're young and rich doesn't mean you have to be douchey. Tebow & McElroy didn't care how "the rolley felt when it touched their arm"

Of course the big cities on the coast aren't going to be very "southern".....but everything in the middle of the state, all the way down to damn near Miami is extremely redneck. There's just more diversity in this part of the state as opposed to Alabama where it's 99.9% white. It doesn't matter if it's a brown, black, or white person wearing a cowboy hat & boots.....it's still a cowboy hat & boots.

Alabama is over 1/4 black.

I agree with you in that Florida is a lot more redneck than it's given credit for. I'm assuming this AL fan or whatever he is has never been outside the beach scene.

FWIW, this couple was just booked in jail for kidnapping their 2 kids.

Guess where they're from?

That's where you'd be wrong, my friend.

Whether or not you agree with how JFF has a good time, the one thing that can't be denied is he's consistent. He hasn't changed his lifestyle just because he's a national news story now--he was always the wild and carefree sort. Only difference now is keyboard warriors like us are appraised of his every move thanks to the 24/7 news cycle.

He's a college kid having a good time. Whether that's "douchey" or not is totally subjective. As much pub as the party/celeb photos of JFF get, he also went out of his way on social media to praise other players and the like.

I'd lose respect for JFF if he suddenly became a hermit just to please folks who're tired of hearing about him, just like I'd lose respect for Tebow if he "toned down" his faith just to appease others. It is who they are, and they're comfortable with it.

Considering the current AU allegations, flashing cash probably isn't the wisest move right now.

He was very likable after he led the Ags to stomping a mudhole in your hillbilly asses.

The kid is a doosh but if he were a Gator I would figure out a way to like him. At least when he suits up.

Isn't the reason that we know he's a doosh because he posts a good bit of his life on social media sites/thingys???

I don't think the media took pictures of his "Rolly" and scabbed up arm and proceeded to air them or publish them.
