Do you realize that every team Alabama played was an SEC team? Do you realize that every SEC team played an SEC schedule? You do realize that if it does not end 5 wins and 5 loses, somebody did much better and somebody did much worse.

I actually think Bama didn't play very well against LSU and was disappointed they didn't put up over 60. They probably could have had it not been for SB and BR fumbling in the red zone.

You so wish that was true don't you? Still have 15-0 (something bama has never done). Still have 46-41. Still have RTWFU Still have the greatest season of all time. And ours occurred during an actual normal football season with actual complete rosters, with actual full stadiums and half of our schedule didn't go .500 or worse....

In all honesty though, I really can see where bama fans want to stake the claim. This was a truly dominant season. And if I'm being completely honest, I think both are neck and neck as far as how good the teams are. It's just the bullshite that surrounded this season that is the difference. A team that played 7 games whose conference had to change the rules for them, played for the national championship. Come on. Take the crimson glasses off and see this for what it is

I know this is a troll so it's probably not worth responding, but if you take regular schedules (8 game SEC, typical out of conference) I think you probably see at least 3 more conference teams ranked and the records look a lot better. It was an unusual year.

Ole Miss, Missouri, and LSU are all probably at least 8-win teams this year if they play their original schedules. Kentucky probably has a winning record. The schedules being what they were just really made a lot of final records look screwy in the league.

One fanbase has lost 9 of the past 10 but the winner of those 9 plus the 2020 NC is insecure? Is that your story Skippy?

The ranked teams you played were UF (Who at the end of the season should not even be in the top 15)

So it’s okay to use “should not have been ranked in my opinion” and still call 2019 Texas a “top 10 win” because of their preseason ranking.

Y’all are going to make yourselves sick with all of this spinning

We played an all Power 5 schedule and went undefeated, winning by an average score of 49-19...

We went 11-0 against SEC teams (never been done before); the only two SEC teams we didn't play were Vandy and SCe who finished 13 & 14 in conference play...

We beat 4 of the top 7 teams in the final AP poll (and the #13 team as well) and we beat 6 teams that won bowl games...

We whipped the defending national champions on their own field...

Slice it any way you want, that doesn't equal awful opponents...not the toughest schedule ever, but nowhere in the realm of awful...

Safe bet that if Ohio State had played Alabama, they'd be 5-1. So significantly worse off than A&M.
I agree they don't deserve to be in, but as a Bama fan, I didn't want to hear the "if Ohio St was in the playoff" BS.
Will the committee EVER be able to keep a team out due to a weak schedule again?

I can confidently say OSU just made it with the weakest schedule that will ever make it.
The Committee members that voted for them should be fired.
On this we agree. Who have they played? The Buckeyes are going to get into the playoffs based ENTIRELY on preseason hype and not résumé.
"It's almost like you've got to have 120 hours to get a business degree and yet these people over here only need 60 hours to get a business degree."
yes, one of the most talented teams. Possibly not the most deserving based on the next couple of weeks and who is left standing.
Dabo is right. The chicken shite BiG chose not to play the same as other conferences so piss on them.
Dabo is 100% on point. Not only will they have only played 5 games, but their schedule is arguably the worst in the entire country for a P5 team. Put in Cincy over them, hell if UF or A&M weren’t up there I’d put in Iowa St over them if they beat OU again.
I really think you have to earn your way in and Ohio st has not done that. With that said bring it on, let them get their arse kicked like every other big ten team has. This year the non power fives have a legitimate complaint because the pussies in the big ten didn’t want to play. It’s a shame they take a spot from another team that has earned it on the field. Let OSU stay home and celebrate their win over Perennial powerhouse Northwestern

before OSU played clemson^^^

OSU is a fine team! Wow, they are so good!

bama after OSU beat clemson^^^

proooooof that their own fans think their competition was weeeeeeak. but quickly realized that they needed to talk about OSU in a better light to make their season look better.

they change direction a lot.

This is misleading. The so called trash SEC teams went to bowls and beat ranked teams. I agree this year is harder to run an autopsy on but it’s still the SEC and they played only SEC teams. The conference ate each other alive this year

I've gotten kind of bored with Bama winning so many titles. LSU fans melting about yet another Tide title keeps it entertaining

This is factually not so.

Sagarin ratings which are formulaic and impartial indicate that Bama played the third toughest schedule in the country and equivalent to the schedule LSU played last year.

And frankly, it is disingenuous to spout a lie and then disparage people from trying to correct what you could have easily determined with 1 minute's worth of research.

Most Bama fans, myself included, pulled for LSU in the championship and found it hilarious watching them beat UGA by so much in Atlanta. So, no, you're incorrect. LSU fan's obsession with Bama is a one way street.
