Do Florida fans hate Mullen more than Auburn hated Gus?

There seems to be genuine disdain for Mullen as a head coach from Florida fans. Auburn fans were fed up with Gus’s Mickey Mouse offenses and buffoonery as a coach, but he seemed like a good guy who ran a clean program.

as of a year ago, Florida fans thought Mullen was a saint who could do no wrong. I think the realization that his antics aren't worth dealing with if he can't get over the hump.

They had their best roster in probably a decade and pissed it away due to Mullens's arrogant coaching style.

I love Mullen as our coach. The guy was a winner at moo state for God sakes. He’ll surely win a title in Gville shortly. The only Florida fans that don’t like him are entitled young kids and a bunch of alters here.

Every UF fan I know irl, and admittedly that's a limited sample, hasn't liked Mullen from day one. Independent of each other, they attribute his success to the program rather than to him.

. I do not want a saint coaching a football team. I want a coach that will cross the field and kick your arse like he did the mutts this year. I love that you hate him. Tired of good guys like McElwain that you slobbered over.

He's a good offensive coach but most UF fans want a HC that takes recruiting and coaching hires more seriously.

Mullen did not have the best departure from UF when he left for Starkville though.

Mullen is stubborn and weird but It's not really hate but high frustration.

Kind of weird that Gator fans turned on him after he beat Georgia and won a division title. Reminds me of the Mark Richt era at UGA.

I dont believe many UF fans wanted Mullen initially. He was probably 3rd choice with fans behind Frost and Kelly. But he has done better than those two.

A program that was run by Muschamp and McElwain??? Yep, he inherited a stacked program.

the LSU game pushed them over the edge. They prepped for Bama all week and then Mullen acted like a douche regarding the shoe. He just runs his program in a politically incorrect way and it gets tedious I'm sure.

He made up for the LSU game by pushing Bama close to the brink.

Good thing you pay an AD to make those decisions instead of leaving it to a vote.

He's stubborn, arrogant, and a poor game manager. Average recruiter.

But he's an elite schemer and developer which gives a great chance at winning a lot of games every season, despite his flaws.

He can be frustrating but I think all Gator fans are glad to have him after Muschamp and Mac.

The real killer was his keeping Pitts out of the game with LSU. No sense in that at all.

Amazing how they looked so bad against a down LSU and so good against Alabama.

Cant remember what happened exactly but I know it was said former AD Jeremy Foley didn't like him.
Thats why when Foley hired those 2 bums Muschamp and McElwain, Mullen never got a call.
During one of those searches he said Mullen wasn't an option or something like that.

While at MSU some fans didn't like how he said Geoff Collins was making a lateral move from MSU to UF. He may have said that about Stricklin too.

I remember something about his wife not liking the pressure at UF or something too.

Are you trying to have an argument with a non-present third party?

I'm just reporting what I've heard.

He’s 1/4 vs Kirby. Why would we hate that loser. I think he’s a douche but would love for him to stay a while. no threat

Dan Mullen would make a great offensive coordinator.

I'm disappointed Mullen didn't have higher ranked recruiting classes with all that cheating.
