frick Greg McGarrity... I believe that's the lowest finish for UGA since 1997 in the Director's Cup...

That's exactly what you'd expect from the guy in last place.

Good year for LSU. Missed out on the top 10 by 0.17 of one point. That is razor thin.

The only reason we leaped above Texas was our win in the baseball regional over Army. Had we lost to them, we would have received 25 points instead of 37.5 and would have remained in 4th place.

Tuck Fexas!

Nabbing UK's T&F coach cost UK a Top 10 finish.

Dores winning the battle of the Black & Gold!

(more embarrassing as Dore's have no volleyball or softball teams and Mizzou does)

One of these days we are going to beat Stanford. Or maybe not.

Might as well be #2 if you take out Stanford $$$$ to win this every year

Congrats Gators

Kind of embarrassing that a rich school in the SEC doesn't field a volleyball or softball team? What are you guys a bunch of misogynists?

I get it, but if #21 is your worst finish in 20+ years, that ain't chopped liver.

VU endowment money can only be used for education

Stanford endowment money can be used for athletics
(outside of maybe Harvard, nobody has that much money)

It is more about the money than anything else

VU has lacrosse instead of softball (less expense)
VU has bowling instead of volleyball (less expense)

If memory serves VU has the fewest athletes and overall sports sponsored in the SEC. Would love to see VU get a men's soccer team and offset that with a gymnastics team but it would be funnier if they added something like softball so they should have another sport to own the Vols in.
