Overall this has been one of the weakest athletic years in a while, pretty crazy we’ll still end up in top 5. I believe the streak of top 10 finishes extends to 36 years

If that’s true that is crazy impressive.

It's probably true. Florida is outstanding. I haven't gone down the list and checked...but here is a link to the top 10 finishes from the inception of the Directors Cup:

Florida and Georgia seem to dominate with Florida way out in front.

Here is how it breaks down as for appearances in top 10"

Florida-25 (4 second place finishes and 5 3rd place))
Georgia-10 (1 2nd place finish and 1 3rd place)
LSU-6 (1 8th place finish, 1 9th place and 4 10th place)
Texas A&M-5 (1 5th place finish was their best)

I also saw Tennessee and Kentucky in there once, I think.

Kentucky has really made a jump the last few years.
Their AD has done a great job there.

There was a precursor to this rendition of the list, which I believe is where UF gets their number of 36 straight top 10s.

I think LSU will pass Kentucky when they add the baseball points.

He was just named AD of the year. He’s done a great job since the Billy Gillispie/Joker Phillips debacle.

Only thing we’re struggling with is baseball right now.

Womens basketball. Yep. I love watching a Chinese fire drill.

Tell you what, though, girls softball ain't all that horrible to watch. It is the closest I can get to watching snatch sports. Minus volleyball.

Yeah if you add baseball, LSU probably finishes second. LSU did this with a real shitty AD in Alleva
