"While working on the updated Top 25 And 1 last night/this morning, I realized only two schools ranked in this week's AP poll have lost to a sub-100 KenPom team this season.

One is Duke.
The other is Kentucky.

And Kentucky has now done it three times."

Gonna be a fun game in Fayetteville this weekend in front of 19k sold out fans.

Cal is a recruiter, not a coach.

Stetson managed to do what Kentucky could not, beat South Carolina on the road.

Cal should probably move on to greener pastures before the NCAA starts digging around.

Kentucky has lost to 3 average to below average teams (#261 Evansville, #112 Utah, #102 South Carolina).

Kentucky has also beaten #6 Michigan State and #10 Louisville.

yeah, they are still Kentucky, though. What you pointed out is a sign of a lot of young and talented players...By the end of the year they will be tough...Caliprick knows what he's doing

Isn't this kind of Cal's MO? recruit the best talent possible and then wait till they are prepared to be coached?

sometimes his teams start out ready to be coached (2014), sometimes it takes a bunch of losses to wake the players up. but they almost always are ready for the tourney.

The system works, Id say Kansas and Duke do a bit better with their plan to integrate fewer 1 and done talents with a few experienced but less talented glue guys, but it makes no sense to stress when Kentucky loses 5-8 reg season games. theyre never a team anyone wants to see in their bracket.

You seriously don't think they have been digging around?

Now KY will be extremely focused this Saturday and Arkansas is going to have to play lights out to beat them.

I dont. I expect to see the KY team that beat Louisville and Michigan State. Maxey drops 30 on Saturday.
