How did they give up almost 400 yards to Ball State?

Got you. I knew there had to be a good reason a Chavis D had 20+ points put on it by a dog shite opponent

First half gave up 102 yds and 3 points. Up 49-3

We got more minutes for back ups and walk one that we ever could have hoped for

First team defense looked good after the first drive. Backups did not when they came on

Our 3rd team DBs gave up a few 30+ yarders late. We're all in full blown panic mode.

We had 3rd and 4th stringers in the 2nd half. 2 deep gave up 3 points in the first half, rested starters rest of the game, but I appreciate your interest in our program.

I'm glad ball state kept punching all game, its nice o have valuable film for your deep bench.

Ball state isn't very good but I think they are well coached, it seems.

saw players I hadn't even heard of last night.
got a solid performance with starters, got a win, got out without any injuries. A good night IMO.

1st Quarter:
18 plays, 75 total yards, 1 pick-6, 3 points
2nd Quarter:
15 plays, 36 total yards, 0 points
At halftime, Ball State had run 33 plays for 111 yards
3rd Quarter:
9 plays, 70 yards, 10 points
After 3 quarters, Ball State had 42 plays for 181 yards and 10 points and the score was 49-13
4th Quarter:
33 plays, 213 yards, 10 points
That shows that we don't have the depth to shut teams out when we get to a commanding lead.

Aggy could have scored at will on poor Ball State. Sumlin took his hand off their throat towards the end of the second quarter.

We were on pace to win 98-6 at halftime.

They were up 49-3, I believe, at halftime. Those were garbage stats.

Basically Sumlin shut down the offense like Les did, but the game was actually in hand when he did it.

At that point, it was far more important to build depth especially with Arkansas and Mississippi State coming up in just under 2 weeks.
We get A.J. Hilliard, Zaycovan Henderson, Julien Obioha, Drew Kaser, and James White back for Nevada.
All and all, 70 players participated, including 20 out of the 26 member 2015 class.

And it was 42-3 with 10 minutes left in the second quarter. Absolute beat down.
