I'd take him. He can coach O.

Would be awesome to hire him as an offensive coordinator, he can coach. I was thinking that even after he got fired.
I mean the guy has some demons but I'm sure he can get his act together. Hiring escorts is a regrettable affair but let's not act like this isn't something that happens from time to time. Not to excuse it, but if he can demonstrate that he is in the right state of mind I don't see why someone would not hire him in a few years.

I doubt schools are hesitant to hire Freeze due to the hookers. I think most schools are keeping their distance because of the looming NCAA show clause.

Just go ahead and say it. You would sell your soul for a national championship.
The guy didn't fricking hire hookers because he likes to frick hookers. He hired them for recruits, many of them under the age of 18. He was involved in sex trafficking.
Now those facts may or may not come out, but they are facts none the less.

It's amazing how many people go along with the narrative that Hugh Freeze just walked away from $12+ million because he was ashamed and sorry for his actions OM canned him to cover their asses

It's like people totally forgot that he got busted bigger'n shite paying players and is likely to have a show cause once the NCAA is finished with Ole Miss.
This entire thread is silly. If someone has hired him already, they'll have to fire him pretty soon.

The hookers weren’t for Hugh, they were for recruiting. If he’s unhireable it’s because of the NCAA shite that he was in the center of, not because of a phone call to a hooker.

Freeze was working as an analyst for some team but no specific team was mentioned.

Nobody is hiring Freeze until the NCAA finally releases their findings and the punishment. Doing so now just invites unwelcome scrutiny. Once they do and if Freeze turns out to be relatively unscathed, he'll make some HC a great coordinator.

Imagine UGA with Freeze as OC and Kirby/Tucker as DC.... we would end the Bama Dynasty.

Personally, I think Hugh's ego is too big for him to accept a college coordinator job.

That would be a pretty damned scary combination. Kirby is still kind of old-school, though, so there would be some bugs to work out first.

In his current situation, even if he doesn't get a show-cause, his coaching choices are pretty much limited to "HC at G5 program" or "OC at P5 program." Either way, his pride will take a hit. And being an OC at a major P5 program is, in many ways, more prestigious than being HC at a mid-tier P5 program. Would you rather be Bama's OC or Wake's HC if you're looking to get attention from future employers?

I call BS. Freeze isn’t gonna get another job with a college ever again
I think he will...some school will want to win bad enough to hire him. I mean, SNITCH U hired Jackie Sherrill once. Sherrill had the worst reputation in all of college football at the time.

And JoePa had the best reputation. You shouldn't believe everything you read, especially if you have an obvious confirmation bias

If Hugh's Ego was so big why was he hiring hookers?

Reminds me when Saban hired Kiffin

Cause he had a big stiffy and loads of money. Where as you may take matters into your own hands when your wife is feeling uncooperative, Freeze had enough liquid assets to have someone else perform those services for him.
