Did they announce how the schedules are going to work?

I had seen it floated that the next year's cross division rotation would be added to this year's schedule.

If so , Alabama and Florida are going to have to run a gauntlet. Georgia also would have two big games instead of one. No way Kirby squeaks past two.

Nothing is official yet, but Ross Dellenger reported that the games would be determined by strength of schedule instead. I hope this fiasco pushes the conference to consider moving permanently to the pod system in the future.

Two divisions: Big 6 and Other 8. Each team plays every other team in their division. Big 6 plays 5 divisional opponents and 5 from Other 8. Other 8 plays 7 divisional opponents and 3 from Big 6.

ETA: My idea. Not official.

Only thing I know for certain is that the SEC office has already setup a special inbox for the inevitable wave of LSU fans complaining about the schedule.

They included a picture in the newsletter, which was nice of them.

Coach O on this season: "If they move it back, if they change it, who cares? If they call us at midnight we're going to play in a pasture."

Joe Burrow last season: "We'll play anybody, anywhere. You can take us to Canada, and we'll play on a gravel lot.”

We ready. We comin!

Amazing how Alabama fans still don’t see:

A) The value in a balanced scheduling philosophy

and

B) The problem with an alum of one of the member schools creating a new schedule

I'm sick of the whole Alabama and Florida have to go through a gauntlet.

Last year auburn had: LSU, bama, UGA, florida
2018 LSU had: uga, bama, Florida, Auburn

Other teams have had to play that schedule.
