Did Saban really just blame all his assistant coaches for 44-16? Pathetic

What happened to “the buck stops here?”

quote:

“When the season started, I think we were great,” Saban said. “When we won the LSU game [in November], it just seemed like people’s own agendas started to become more important.”

“Coaches or players?” Finebaum asked.

“Coaching,” Saban responded. “We had a lot of guys who wanted to be head coaches at different places. It takes a special person to stay focused on what they have to do now when they have a job somewhere else that’s awaiting them and they have a responsibility on staffs.

How can the bus manage to drive over all the people he is throwing under it?

What I took from this is that Bama believes that the LSU game is their most important game of the year regardless of win streaks.

Basically said that his coaches let their hair down after they got through Baton Rouge.

It’s almost like he’s trying to convince the players that 1) the current pieces are better than the past ones 2) that they should never get complacent

Why blame the people here when you can blame the people that aren’t

You have to have one team with one heartbeat. You can't put individual goals above team goals.

Those people are no longer at Bama. They were told to clean out their office and start looking elsewhere.

You have to be given a reason to blame the refs, before you can blame the refs.

Don’t speak on things that don’t apply to you.

Lol both of his coordinators last year were fricking terrible.

It’s a wonder that they even beat Oklahoma. Tosh is hilariously bad and Locksley is the worst OC they’ve had since MAJOR

What I'm taking from this is Saban is losing control of his coaches.

Not really, many of the coaches are trying to be head coaches, and toward the end of the year they focused more on that. Happens.

Difference is that Coach Saban will take control of the problem, and already has.

How bad do you think LSU will have to suck this year to repeat the let down?

This is the truth.

Saban fricked up and tried to keep good recruiters by putting them in places they didn't belong.

It can't be easy to grasp control of an constant moving segment of the program.

He's blown through at least a dozen coaches in the last couple of seasons. The constant is always Saban and that's the way it should be at a elite level program.

Look, if folks want to make the argument clemson was a better team in that game. Fair enough, make it. But only a dipshit of the highest order tries to make the argument they were 28 points better.

The fact of the matter though is clemson won that game for two reasons and two reasons only. Alabama finally broke under the pressure of being alabama and I think seven coaches were on their way out the door at the time that game was played. Including both coordinators.

Alabama making it as far as they did is a testament to their greatness and also a testament to the power of nick Saban's personality.

People want to know why saban thinks Alabama lost. He coughs up an honest answer and folks piss on him for it. The guy isn't tone deaf and he can read his audience. He knows that when he tells the truth, he's gonna get the kinda shite he's getting now. He's the GOAT because he doesn't fricking care.

In fact, saban exhibits alot of the traits some of you assholes love about Donald Trump. He tells you how it is and then gives you the middle finger.

Alabama lost because almost an entire coaching staff didn't have it's head in the game and that's just the way it is. You hatin' frickers are just gonna have to suck on that shite.
