Did Mac Jones Try Hard Enough?

He didn't seem to have any spirit, no drive, no determination to hit the pocket and bust a few heads to gain a measly six yards.
Bulovas didn't even try to block anyone; it's like he was scared.
I don't blame Saban for their poor exectution of a brilliant play; it was their fault.
Thanks a lot, Mac and Joe, you both blew it. Hopefully Saban will punish them properly for their sloppy play which caused Alabama the NC.
Lackluster players who don't want to be on the team need to be culled from the team. Take a strong hand in dealing with these types of cancer on a team and it will pay great dividends down the road.

And to the OP, if Bama gained that first down on that play they still would have gotten curb stomped. So Mac and the little kicker didnt cost Bama the national championship. C'mon now.

I imagine Mac had to fight just to stay motivated knowing he was no better than third string regardless of his play. Nick Saban is the one who fumbled the ball putting the play in the hands of those two goofballs. He made a bad decision. One of many.
