This. If we lock down the state, we'll have the top recruiting class this season. We already have two five-stars, and there are at least five more 24/7 cumulative 5*'s in the state, and Tony Brown is an LSU lock. We signed an awesome class last season, and we played 15 freshmen this past year.

I can live with a 9-4 season as long as we bring in the expected class. These next five years should be really fun

LSU has more than enough talent to replace what they lose every year. Awful play calling is the only reason they lose games here and there.

Not really

jmo...I think the D will be pretty good but I would be surprised if it is a top 5 elite D. The OL should be very good and if Coach Cameron does what he was hired to do, it can be a very good year.

LSU lost as many players as Bama, Georgia, and Florida. The big news was that they were almost all juniors.

If some of the younger guys on defense step up, it can be a special year.

If their inexperience gets exploited by other teams, then it could be a long year.

Bama and aTm lost more and didn't play nearly as many freshman as LSU.

will they be decent this year?

I like the fact that LSU is not being considered a contender by some, takes alot of pressure off the young guys.

No team has ever returned 14 starters and 33 of 44 from the 2 deep and ever won anything.

Ever.

Ever, ever.

We might go 4-8. You just can't lose 8 starters and expect to be even remotely competitive. I mean, really? Who has ever only returned 5 starters on defense and 9 starters on offense and had 16 true freshmen with good playing experience last year who are ready to step up and have ever been any good?

Sarcasm off.

LSU will be fine. Just fine. A&M fans need to realize that LSU just reloads and keeps coming year after year. We might not win it all, but each game will be a war.

We might be able to field a halfway decent football team this year, if we're lucky

Nah, we'll be 0-12 per SECr. May as well pack it in now.

Nope, 0-12 get your talking points right. We lost all 22 starters plus all their backups remember?
