Can’t remember their opinions on this board at the time of both scandals.

Depends if you classify all LSU fans as one group think.

I'm sure some thought he was innocent. I'm sure some thought he was guilty. I'm sure some thought he was guilty, but also thought he should be allowed due process.

I guess I don't understand how he hasn't been allowed due process. He was provided the opportunity to speak to school officials and declined. They only suspended him after he declined.

Being invited to speak to school officials on the issue prior to any action taking place is due process.

He elected not to meet, likely because it would have been a difficult explanation and he wants to see what kind of facts he has to answer to without coming out with them himself. That was his prerogative. He chose to do it that way.

The school had no other recourse.

If he were completely innocent, I'm sure he would have met and discussed. He isn't the victim here. The school is.

Cam was dirty and basically said as much.

I was living in Memphis when Hugh got Tunsil and before that the big receiver out of Chicago, it was common knowledge that those guys got paid handsomely. Arhie, Trent's BIL, Tuohy and Hollingsworth all ponied up together for that....among others

I think they took the "wait and see" approach with Cam.

They thought Hugh was guilty from the start.

I do not remember them reacting like some of the other fanbases when the NCAA announced Cam was good and later when theycleared AU and congratulated them on how they handled the situation. The reaction by some was priceless.

Well do you understand that the gravity of the two situations you mentioned are far greater than what has happened at LSU?
One team won a championship with an illegitimate pay for play quarterback.
The other had a head coach preaching the Bible while simultaneously paying for prostitution.

Hugh - discoverable phone records documented his sleazy actions.

Wade - discoverable wire tapped phone conversations document his sleazy actions.

Cam - "sources say"......

Which one of these is not like the others?

No more pay for play than half the fricking players on your roster. If you think otherwise, you should be wearing a diaper because you are a pants-shitting retard.

Just dropped by to say :

Not Guilty does not equal Innocent.

Thanks, back to the discussions.
