Did Georgia steal it’s “keep the main thing, the main thing” from Alabama?

I'm sure Smart will still a lot of things from his mentor. That's kind of how it works. Looks like he learned well getting Uga to the NC.

I don't think Alabama was the first to ever use this phrase.

Probably...I mean they already stole the image of the the gloved hand with the slogans on each hand. That's the nature of things though.

They probably could use self help and improvement in college station... Especially with all the male cheerleaders running around.

I am probably wrong but isn't possible that it was Kirby who pioneered some of these things at Bama and he simply took it with him to Georgia? I still like Smart and knew it was a mistake for Auburn to pass on him when they fired Gene Chizik.

This was done by a fan in Pinterest, not the athletic dept.

I think you have that one backwards (obviously All In predates both of them).

Oooh what’ll be next: “sharpen the saw” or “first things first” or “begin with the end in mind”

I have heard this saying at my church for at least 20 years,

"Let's keep the main thing, the main thing." I don't think it is unique or original to Alabama.

Oh yes, we have it copyrighted and UGA will be hearing from our attorneys.

These are the type threads that surprise me. I'm not sure about the point that is being made. It isn't really a troll, imo. I'm just not sure how to take it.
