Grew up a longhorn fan. Visited their campus along with A&M's when I was in high school. Liked A&M's better.

Not me, but my wife grew up a Clemson fan because her dad was an ROTC instructor assigned there.

He PCSed, and she never went back to Clemson, thank God.

I honestly didn't even care about the architecture style when I first visited the campus. It wasn't until I was a sophomore that I realized it had that style. I was more concerned about the layout of the campus.

The newer buildings all have a lot better styling, like the new Zachry Engineering Education Complex.

In Alabama it's extremely rare to see a family all one or the other. Me and my sister Bama fans, our parents auburn fans. My wife a Bama fan, her mother an aubie. I work for a family owned operation by 2 brothers. One is Bama, the other aubie but the aubies son is a bama fan. The Bama brother has 2 kids, 1 aubie, one Bama.

It's unlike any state fans makeup I've ever seen.

My family are all in Georgia now. My grandfather was a bama fan but grandmother was Auburn fan. My dad and Aunt both went to auburn. My dad thinks we would all be tech fans if they could have afforded out of state tuition back then. Needless to say all my family is all Auburn fans. Nephew starts Auburn in Fall.
