A major development occurred at the very end of the media’s viewing session. Freshman receiver Devonta Jason ran a go route and made a nice catch down the sideline. He pulled up right after making the catch, though, and immediately fell to the grass.

Receiver Stephen Guidry and a trainer were the first to get to Jason as he squirmed on the ground. Head coach Joe Moorhead arrived shortly thereafter. Jason got up after about a minute but had to be helped off the field by two trainers.

He's one of our Freshman receivers. This isn't good. I hope it's nothing serious.

^This. Hope he's ok. Pre-season injuries suck.

Whoever downvoted that can eat a dick. Hearing this injury is very serious, hope that's not the case

Hope it is minor. Sounds like a hamstring.

Word is that "it looked worse than it actually is."

If injured for any length of time, just means 2 of Guidry, Williams, Couch, and Jackson have to come thru.

Yep, I feel most comfortable with him being the most dependable of the bunch.

I’ve heard that the Clarion Ledger made this sound worse than it is.

Great, so nobody knows who the player is OR what the injury is.

I mean did you read the Clarion Ledger write-up on Tony the Landshark. They made it sound like the second coming of Jesus Christ had occurred in Oxford.
