Going all the way back to 1962, wow.

Their fan support is phenomenal in the midst of and despite all their problems and struggles. Their last remaining tickets to this weekend's game were bought and donated to disadvantaged youth.

That's impressive. Btw...Notre Dame's 273 game streak ended in 2019 that was begun in 1973. Nebraska's record will NEVER be broken. No team is within the distance from earth to the sun of catching Nebraska.

Are there a lot of other options for entertainment in Nebraska?

It is. Also, have you been to Nebraska?

Quite a lot comes through Omaha. Probably more than it does in Alabama cities

There's Nebraska football... and.. fried mayonnaise balls. (For some reason, despite not really liking Daniel Tosh all that much - I still remember when he made fun of the Midwest/Nebraska talking about all of their fried foods )

Unfortunately, poor attendance usually spells doom for certain head coaches. Nebraska's fan loyalty may be granting Scott Frost reprieves he's not entitled to.

The remaining tickets were bought by 2 donors (Not 2 tickets). It doesn't say how many tickets they purchased.

It would be impressive if they didn’t already get busted for inflating attendance.

Yes, I've been there; but, still...that's an incredible feat for any program. NU is the standard when it comes to fan loyalty.

Nebraska is home to some of the biggest fossil beds in North America so if you’re a paleontologist, good times.

It's really irrelevant...2 or 20, however many, they were bought and they have an offical sellout.

Nobody sold out anything last season. Streak ended then.

Maybe in the same way everyone else does. But with NU you can see it.

They must've made up 1/4 of the fans @Illinois last week and when they went to Colorado 2 years ago they were legit 3/5 - 3/4 of those in attendance in Boulder.

When we played them in Orlando several years back at the Capital One Bowl, the split was 50/50. Now I know there are a ton of Nebraska transplants in Florida, but that's still a boatload of folks traveling across country to watch a mid-tier bowl game.

This is a pretty cheap record that they keep bragging about. Two wealthy donors purchased the remaining tickets and are giving them away for free.

Some boosters bought up several thousand tickets and will distribute them to youth groups. They’ve done this several times during their “sellout streak”

No surprise. Fordham will probably be a great game for the fans.

Omaha is a much, much, much bigger city than most people realize.
