Best in the Game

quote:

But Derrick Henry lives in an entirely different galaxy after contact. How do we know? Here’s how we know: Over the last two seasons, Henry doesn’t just lead the NFL in rushing yards with 3,567 in the regular season and 4,052 if you include the postseason, but he also has more yards after contact — 3,130 — than any other NFL back has in total rushing yards. Cook ranks second with 2692, Chubb ranks third with 2561, and Ezekiel Elliott of the Cowboys ranks fourth with 2,336. Imagine gaining 438 more yards after contact in a two-year period than any other running back gains in rushing yards no matter the situation.

His 99 yard touchdown vs Jacksonville amazes me every time I see it.

I’d take Chubb 10/10 times ahead of one trick Henry.

I could easily put up the numbers he puts up if I got 40 touches behind that OL.

Stone hands pussy, that’s Queen Henry! And you can tell him I said that and to bring his bitch arse over here if he has a problem.

Chubb/CMC/Kamara/Cook/Fournette = elite tier RBs

I don’t think that’s what it’s saying, that is saying those are Cook and Chubb’s total rushing yards over that time. Either way, I am not sure if I believe these numbers. They are saying like 85 percent or so of Henry’s yards come after contact? I know he is incredible but seems strange still.

Over the last two years,

Chubb- 488 rushes
Henry- 681 rushes

So let’s break it down per rush

Yards after contact (per rush)
Chubb: 5.25
Henry: 4.60

Reading is hard. You're comparing Chubbs yards to Derrick's YAC

Should we compare middle school stats too while we’re reliving the glory days?

Leonard has done what every player dreams of doing. Queen, not so much. Truth hurts.

Yeah the numbers are flat out incorrect. Henry has 2073 YAC over the last two years
